Maps...In Reply to: Re: Come On!! Where is CC and JK when you need them? posted by 427 on July 18, 2011 at 8:22 PM Not sure if you want Subdivision maps or parcel maps. I have large wall-size maps from most all SoCal Counties showing map books. These maps provide an overview of the geographic areas that I may wish to target or avoid. I also have topo maps for areas where I wish to own or control larger properties (i.e. ranches) and where I wish to understand elevations and, obviously, topography. In the past I've had custom maps created and mounted. For example, several years ago I had a Thomas Bros map produced for the greated Santa Ynez Valley area of Northern Santa Barbara County. This was very instructive, desipite the fact that I have yet to buy there. Additionally, I have subdivision maps for certain areas communities, that shows every parcel in the subdivision. These may be obtained thru your title company subdivision department or from your county or city building dept. It's not surprising that, ina world of specialization, you have employees working ten feet away from the counter where your solution is, yet they cannot answer your question. P.S. - Maps been very, very good to me!
