If someone bids a property too high because he thought the 2nd was a 1st, the property would not have been a good deal, anyway. There's a right way and a wrong way to do everything, including giving advice. I hope the experts are here for reasons other than to vent on newbies. For example: Dear Reg ~ By now you realize you screwed up, but that doesn't mean you can't learn from your mistake. For the benefit of other newbies, let me explain what you did wrong. [Etc.] NOW the horse is really dead, testosterone-drenched board notwithstanding. :-)
