Talk about beating a dead horse.

: We still don't know why/how "one idiot at a Trustee's Sale ruins it for everyone else," as has been claimed here

First of all, to those who don't like my tone, don't read my posts. I'm not here to give touchy feely advice and make people feel good. I've made mistakes, I continue to make mistakes and will make more mistakes in the future. I don't take offense to anyone calling me an idiot when I screw up. This is a rough business. I once had to watch the sheriffs during an eviction take an 88 year old decorated World War II veteran out of his home at gun point because a young female scammed him out of his life savings and left him penniless. Things like that can make you cynical. Another thing that makes me cynical is doing the work of researching and following a property to sale only to watch an inexperienced newbie bid it out of the sky to an unreasonable price because they think they are bidding on a first, not a second. I've watched it happen too many times. This is what I mean when I state that it only takes one idiot to ruin the deal for everyone else at an auction. There are very few profitable deals to be found at the Sale these days because so few have equity. Reg took a good one away from an investor that could have made money. I'm angry at him for that and for the fact that no where in his post does he state he needs to get trained. Rick's analogy to jumping on a commercial flight to find out the pilot hasn't been trained is good. Would you all try and cuddle the pilot and make him feel good as you plunge to your death because of his incompetence? I think not. This thread has gone on long enough. What do you say to we agree to disagree and let it rest?
