In that case, would a lender be willing to make a loan to someone who has a judgement recorded against him/her? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Since a purchase money deed of trust has priority over a pre-eexisting pre-recorded judgement lien against the purchaser, some lenders will loan because their interest isn't affected.
