: So if the amount is going to be 150,000 and I bring a check for $200,000. How do I get the difference if the winning bid is $175,000?

You could also bring several C.checks in different amounts,
I.E. your willing to bid 200K bring a 100K cc, a 50K cc,
a 25K cc and 2 10K plus 1 5K... you could then make change
to a point where your over would be minimum and not tie up
desperatly needed cash.
