Unlawful Detainer Registry

: Will these credit consequences attach simply for beginning the unlawful detainer action? (In N.C. it is called "summary ejectment".) Or would the tenants need to have been forcibly removed by the sheriff?

Sean,

It's just the filing of the eviction lawsuit that gets you in the UDR (unlawful detainer registry).

I Googled the keywords "unlawful detainer registry" and came up with this web site: http://www.udregistry.com/

Hope this helps
