: I bought a house at TS on JUL 1. Foreclosing lender is Wells Fargo, 1st position. However, an assignment of trust deed was recorded on Jun 30,one day before the TS. Wells Fargo assigned the loan to Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. Is this normal? Does wells fargo still have the right to foreclose after the assignment?
: Thanks in advance!
: Bill

The preforeclosure work is probably protocol per Freddie's polices and the same trustee was used. Assignment of rights does not require the assignee to start from scratch. You may have missed something during the reading of the preamble of the foreclosure. Most people's minds tend to drift during the reading.
