Interesting....Ward do you think the emasculation of the Glass-Steagall Act has had a greater effect than interest rates being held artificially low for too long?


: Yes, it was the emasculation of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 about 9 years ago (in 1999) that allowed all of this liar loan crap to happen in the first place. And hopefully the wrenching pain we are going to go through as a consequence, will push us recreate a similar bulwark, so we don't allow this needless disaster befalling us to ever happen again.
